This Taotao Ring Pommel Tang Dao takes the ancient Taotao beast pattern as its core design element, drawing the majestic spirit of Tang Dynasty ring-pommel saber. According to legend, the ancient divine beast Taotao guarded mountains and rivers with imposing power. Its totem was carved on ritual artifacts to ward off misfortune, carrying the solemn spirit of China for thousands of years. Craftsmen fold and forge the blade from Damascus steel. The wavy grain flows across the blade surface, locking the wind and cloud of mountains. Full brass fittings feature lifelike Taotao beast heads and interlocking spiral patterns, recreating the solemn aesthetic of ancient bronze ware. The scabbard and handle are crafted from premium dragon phoenix rosewood, featuring deep, natural wood grain with classic antique texture. Following ancient craftsmanship, the ring pommel pairs with confronting Taotao beast heads on the crossguard. When sheathed, the beast slumbers quietly; once drawn, the flowing steel patterns burst into light, as if awakening the ancient mythical beast.
