Expertly forged from manganese steel, this classic Ming-style Xiu Chun Dao has standard specifications: 108cm overall length, 72cm blade length, 30cm handle length, 3.8cm max blade width, 0.5cm blade thickness. The total weight of the complete saber is around 1.5KG, the blade net weight out of scabbard is 1.15KG, offering well-balanced handling experience.
The blade features gradient blue finish with orderly scale patterns formed by professional surface treatment. The one-piece metal handle is produced by forming process with solid and sleek texture. The scabbard adopts solid wood inner core covered with PU outer layer, paired with bright blue standard metal fittings with molded patterns. It faithfully restores the classic design of Jinyiwei official sabers from Ming Dynasty.
In ancient times, Jinyiwei officers patrolled cities and safeguarded territory with sabers of this style, the cool-toned blue blade stood out distinctly at night. Combining traditional forging craftsmanship and Oriental vintage design, it is a high-grade craft collectible with great ornamental value for home display.
